Ms Shikha Sharma is the Managing Director & CEO of ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Company.  ICICI Prudential was amongst the first private sector companies in India to be awarded a life license in December 2000, and since its inception the company has established itself as India’s leading private life insurer, offering a complete range of products to meet the varying needs of the Indian customer.

Ms Sharma, is a B.A. (Hons.) graduate, has a Post Graduate Diploma in Software Technology, from the National Centre for Software Technology, Mumbai and completed her Masters of Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management - Ahmedabad.

She began her career with ICICI, one of India's largest financial services providers, in 1980. She has been instrumental in setting up various group businesses for the company, including investment banking and retail finance.
