On receipt of all required documents, we settle and communicate decision within 12 calendar days. To expedite transfer of claims proceeds to you, we aim to process most of our payouts through electronic modes.
When a fact influencing the underwriter's decision is not disclosed in the proposal, it is termed as "non disclosure". Similarly, withholding information or providing incorrect information while answering questions in the proposal form is "mis-statement" e.g. when an applicant who is suffering from kidney failure answers in the negative to a question on kidney ailment, it is non disclosure of material fact. When an applicant overstates his income, then it is a mis-statement of a material fact. When such non disclosure or mis-statement of material fact is observed, the claim may be rejected
